Phillip.....We are sick that we missed y'all. Understandable as I was working in the food tent and
Bobby was hauling the wagon with seats transporting people and coolers. Your pictures are WONDERFUL! and atleast we got to see a picture ot the adorable Lachlan. So glad you all took him down the back road behind the school house. You see a really different side of Portsmouth on that trail. Come back soon. We leave May 12. The Pleasants

Hi Phillip! Thank you so much for your wonderful write up and the pictures! You told me you would write about homecoming and you did - we at FPI really do appreciate it. Thanks also for linking us to your site. It was a great day at Portsmouth and before too long it will be 2010 and we will be doing it again! Rosanne Penley, FPI

Hi Philip ~ Well you didn't let me down. The write up was great & the pics were wonderful. I still want to make it to a Homecoming someday. I have been on Portsmoth only 1 time. I need to get back there. 7 more days, I'll be on Ocracoke. Can't wait! See you then,

Yes... thank you for the beautiful pictures! And wow! Lachlan sure is growing! :)
Also to the Pleasants; that road behind the schoolhouse is definitely magical!

I must agree with all the rest. The pictures are wonderful and make me very happy that I, too, will be there in about one week. Looking forward to another ghost walk, the beach, shrimp at "The Pelican", and all the rest of the fun that Ocracoke offers...
